Iris' Bell

I have Iris Niebach's new Fantasy 3 book. I worked the edging for a fingertip towel for a friend. I loved the edging. I made some changes in both design and count and created the pink bell. Then went loco and created the blue & white bell with 140 beads. Too, too much. Now to make a 3rd bell, with some of the changes and not nearly so much "glitz."

  • Yes, glitz and all! I'm not a glitz person, but many people love bling…I had a friend years ago (she was the age I am now and I was in my 30's) who I called the "shiny lady" She just dazzled (bedazzled)…I remember she was so shocked when I turned up at church with dyed red hair (my granddaughter was little and a red head who noticed 'No one else has hair my color." So I kept mine red until she accepted her own hair color. I was amused that the "shiny" lady would object to my red, shiny hair. LOL
    Terry, the bells are stunning…

  • I, too, have Iris's wonderful book. I am making the Livia (hearts & bows)edging for a friend's wedding hanky to go with the white Bella Nina I made for her. You're rendition on the bells are fantastic and you're giving me ideas. Thanks to both you and Iris. Karen in OR
